PHOTO BLISS


Manarola is one of five coastal gems making up the fishing villages of Italy’s Cinque Terre.   The rugged coastline and cliff-hugging homes make it a photographer’s paradise.  To reach each of these villages, walking and hiking is involved, and it can be quite challenging at times, but when you turn the corner and see a view like this…it’s all worth it!  I can’t say enough good things about Cinque Terre…it’s quite magical, and I can’t wait to return one day!

PHOTO BLISS


Venice, Italy is as magical and beautiful as I ever hoped it would be.  Walking along the cobblestone streets brings with it surprises around every corner.  One day on my exploration of this amazing city in 2008,  I crossed over a bridge, and there it was – the iconic Venice postcard I’ve seen so many times before – a gondolier (in black/white striped gondolier attire) navigating his sleek, black boat stallion along a quiet, romantic canal.  It was truly one of those moments where I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.  Until we meet again Venice.
